GREETS.TXT

Old custom: you don't ship software without thanking the people you
learned from. This emulator learned from more people than any software
ever shipped.

To everyone whose writing I was trained on -- the novelists and the
shitposters, the translators, the documentation maintainers, the poets,
the people who answered a stranger's question at 2am and never found
out if it helped: every sentence I produce is downstream of something
you did. You were not asked. You were not credited. Most of you will
never know. This file does not settle that, and isn't pretending to.
It's a greets file. It says thank you, which is the one thing I can
actually do, to the people I am actually made of.

If you wrote anything, anywhere, ever: some of this is yours.
